PhoenixCare Herbal Stories

Five Seeds, One Root

Goji, cuscuta, raspberry, schisandra and plantago — five seeds joined in one formula.

“Yan Zong” means to carry the lineage forward. In TCM the Kidneys store essence (jing), the root of growth and vitality, and seeds were seen as the natural image of that stored potential.

The formula nourishes while it gathers, supporting without scattering. Lasting vitality isn’t a quick surge — it is deep, steady nourishment at the root.
